What is Religioscope?
Launched in January 2002 and completely remodelled in January 2003,
RELIGIOSCOPE is a independent website about religions in today's
world. For an overview of our different sections, please see the
site map.
While RELIGIOSCOPE's primary language is French, it includes articles
and documents in English too. And we are confident that you will
also enjoy using our regularly updated calendar (click here), listing
many conferences around the world (especially academic ones), in
French, in English and in other languages.
As you will see, two sections (Articles >
English and Interviews >
English) contain only material in English. In addition, most
of the newsfeeds in our News Center
are in English. You can also find the archives section a list of
articles in English published in
2002.
We also intend to launch soon (Spring 2003) a multilingual directory
of links. You may already see a limited number of links
in our 2002 archives section, but the new directory will be
based upon a completely new concept, much more like well-known directory
of links.
A more detailed introduction about the website in French can be
found in the FAQ.
If you wish to be notified only when new material in English is
posted on this website, please click
here and subscribe. It is free, you can unsubscribe automatically
at any time, and your e-mail address won't be shared with third
parties. If you read French, we recommend that you subscribe to
the French mailing list instead: you will then automatically be
notified about material both in French and in English.
Let's hope that RELIGIOSCOPE will manage some day to become a truly
multilingual website about religions. In the meantime, we thank
you for your interest!
